Ken signed up for high-speed 1.2 gigabit cable internet and added enough WiFi extenders; so no need to find a coffee shop to get work done. All 4 showers are sustainably stocked with paraben-free/sulfate-free bath toiletries. Veronica added 2 full length mirrors to help everyone primp for an exciting night out!

There are two dining areas that are perfect for enjoying a meal. The indoor dining table is nearly 11ft long and has enough chairs for 14 guests! The outdoor dining tables can host 12 guests and has many additional seats in the yard. The room flows effortlessly into the spacious lounge, which is complete with 3 couches, 2 large modern chairs, a beautiful MCM coffee table, board games, and many big windows letting in a lot of light. Whether you want to open up your laptop to plan adventures for the day, host a dinner party, or just want to take things easy, this open concept living room gives you all the space you need.
You'll find a recreation room downstairs with a foosball table, Nintendo 64, Mrs. Pacman, and more seating.

The house has a spacious fenced-in backyard for your use with a patio, hammocks, 12 person outdoor dining tables, volleyball court, fire pit, patio, string lights, and a brand new grill. Play corn hole, Jenga, enjoy a fire, light up the BBQ, and enjoy the famous CO weather! There is ample parking in the driveway and on the street for up to 4 vehicles.
You’ll have access to every room and feature of this home except the owner's closet. Make yourself at home; your hosts are just a phone call or text away if you have any questions or want recommendations for things to do nearby. There is a keypad on the front door for easy and secure access to the home.
This home is in a residential area and being respectful to the neighbors is very important. Parties that are excessively noisy will be shut down, and possibly be threatened with civil prosecution. We truly enjoy this home and are excited to share it with you and your guests. It is a peaceful, secluded property in a rural part of Black Hawk CO. There are sporadic homes around the house and we sit on an acre lot filled with trees, boulders, and breathtaking views. Sitting on the patio or in the dining area with a cup of coffee and a blanket while taking in the views is one of the most lovely ways for us to start our day and we hope you will feel the same!
The home features an open concept main floor with a custom made artisan table, so your group can cook, dine and gather together. There are endless activities in the area, but we hope you enjoy this retreat so much that you will choose to spend some time staying in as well!
Through the abundance of windows on the main level you can enjoy the expansive views of the mountains to the west. Outdoor space is a highlight of this property! Take advantage of the outdoor seating and fire pit on the large back deck and enjoy those views. A gas grill is also provided.

On rare occasion wifi networks can unexpectedly be unavailable in this rural mountain location due to factors beyond our control. This is uncommon, but can happen.

We are located on a gravel/dirt road and AWD/4WD with appropriate tires is critical for you to gain access to this home reliably in the winter and early spring months. We do have a plowing service but despite this, the last 0.1 mile of the drive (Rocky Ridge Rd) is often snow packed with icy spots.
**Depending on the conditions you may require traction devices or chains between the months of Nov/Dec and March/April to navigate the last 0.1 mile of the drive. Please arrive prepared to use these devices if needed.***
There is parking for 3- 4 vehicles depending on size.
A garage is available and is large enough for one small vehicle.
Other parking spots include 2-3 in front of home and 1 behind home.
PLEASE check out Colorado Dept of Transportation traction laws which are in effect from Sept 1 to May 1 throughout the state. Following these will help ensure you don't get stuck on the highways during a storm.

Sauna —
Feel free to use the Sauna downstairs. The two person infrared Sauna is perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring Denver. It takes about 45 minutes to heat up!
Living and Dining Rooms —
Gather in the upstairs living room and watch a movie on the 70" TV or share a meal with everyone in the dining room. The downstairs living room has more seating and another 65" TV along with a small dining table for 4 guests.

Plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars just a few minutes away on Tennyson St. Be sure to visit the Highlands as well, one of the premier neighborhoods in Denver!
Guests will be provided an access code to the front door before check-in!
